To Register

Accreditation for the 5th edition of the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF), is reserved for members of the press/media and film industry professionals. Requests for accreditation may be made starting from September 1st until November 13, 2008.

Please ensure before you begin your request that you have read all of the information provided.

NOTE: DIFF does NOT provide travel or accommodation assistance. All registrants are responsible for their expenses while in Dubai at all times.

  • Before Accreditation will be accepted the online application must be completely filled in with your personal data as well as any other requested documentation such as your C.V. and/or information about your company (in DOC or PDF format).
  • A photograph at least 5cm x 5cm saved in JPG format @ 300dpi is also required.
  • Accreditation is strictly personal and non-transferable.
  • A limited number of accreditations will be available for every category, company, and/or organization; this means that your application alone neither constitutes nor guarantees your accreditation. DIFF may accept or turn down an application for accreditation at its sole discretion.
  • For Industry registrants: To have you or your company information included in the 2008 DIFF Industry Guide your record must be complete (including the uploading of photo) by November 13. Incomplete records, or registrations made after November 13 will not be included in any Industry or Market publications.

Validity:
The accreditation is valid for the duration of DIFF (December 11 - 18, 2008); it must be clearly displayed and shown upon request to personnel in all areas of the Festival. Badges remain the property of DIFF and must be surrendered upon request.

Picking up your accreditation
Accreditation may be picked up upon presentation of the acceptance email which will be sent to all confirmed and accepted registrants, as well as a valid photo ID at the Industry Registration Centre at the DIFF offices in the Madinat Jumeirah conference centre.
The exact address, dates, and opening hours of the office will be provided in the email confirming your accreditation.

As of November 14th acredditation for DIFF will cost AED200.00 (only for those that are accepted). You will be required to pay the accrediation fee before you collect your badge.
Requests for registration made on or after November 14th will NOT have their personal or company profiles in the 2008 Industry guide.

ALL onsite requests (made at the Festival's headquarters as of December 11th) will be subject to a non-refundable AED50.00 processing fee in addition to the AED200.00 fee whether the application is accepted or not.
